I am back with my serial HEADACHE AND HOMOEOPATHIC MEDICINES.

BELLADONA

It is the most frequently used medicine for headache.Belladona is the first grade medicine for setup of inflammation any where in body. For headache it is used in following conditions

# Congestive type of headache with rush of blood to head and face.
# Patient bores the head in  pillow,
# Throbbing type of headache in brain and carotids.

# Modulities are very well marked here;
   A. Headache increases with slightest noise,
        jar, motion, light or least exertion.
   B. Headache releived by pressure, tight bandaging,
        wrapping up, during menses in case of young ladies.

TODAY IS A GREAT DAY WHEN(10th April 1755) the orienter and creater of homoeopathic system of medicines was born in Meissen-Germany who passed out his degree in medicine in 1777.

Today we are celebrating his 260th birth anniversary with a whole hearted dedication.

In 1790 Dr. Hahnemann, inspired by a footnote in cullen's materia medica observed
that the substance used to treat a sufferer are capable to produce the similar sufferings.   Dr. Hahnemann applied the natures law of cure for the therapeutic purose andnamed it as HOMOEOPATHY.

Since than the homoeopathy is flourishing on and today it is second best choice of treatment all over the world.

IN My last article I briefed about argentum nitricum and its uses in case of headache. Today we will know about the symptoms where ARNICA MONTANA can be remembered if needed.

# Headache after traumatic injuries how ever old they may be.
# Headache with sensitiveness of the brain with a feeling of hot head and cold body.
# Headache due to cerebral congestion.
# Acts best in plethoric, dark hired people of rigid musculature with a very nervous
    nature.

In homoeopathic therapeutics we are having number of medicines for headache, here I am giving one of them.

ARGENTUM NITRICUM

# Congestive headache with feelings of fullness and heaviness.
# Sensation as if head is expended too large.
# Habitual gastric headache of literary person.
# Frontal headache with a feeling of pressive or screwing sensation with temporal
    sides ending in bilious vomiting.
     Pain aggravates with exhaustive mental lbour and
     Pain better by pressure or tight bandaging.

Argentum nitricum becomes a very good remeady if selected well after a careful history of the patient.

HEAD ACHE AND HOMOEOPATHIC THERAPEUTICS

A HEADACHE or cepalgia is condition of pain anywhere in the region of the head or upper neck. Headache can be a symptom of number of different conditions of human health.
Headache is a very common problem now days. As per W.H.O. SURVEYS 47%adults suffers from headache.
A sight change in physiology or pathology may create Headache.
Being a worldwide problem Headaches are most thoroughly classified by INTERNATIONAL CLASSIFICATION OF HEADACHE DISORDERS (ICHD) as follow

The primary headaches
The secondary headaches
Cranial neuralgias
Central and primary facial pains
Other headaches.

There are number of medicines in Homoeopathic armamentum of medicines, we will study one by one each day in very short, just to make an awareness among the suffering humanity.
Medicine must be taken by an expert qualified homoeopathic physician.

CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES AND VITAMIN D

THE substantial increase in the incidences of Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Myocardial infarction and Stroke may be initiated in cases of VITAMIN D deficiency.

Vitamin D can lower inflmmation by increasing levels of certain antiinflammatory messengers like Cytokine named IL10.

Research has also shown that Vitamin D lowers the blood pressure, probably by inhibiting a regulatory system called the reninangiotensin system.
Risk of atherosclerosis increases with age, and so does the need for Vitamin D.

It is very essential to take the recommended dose of Vitamin D. Just to depend only only on exposure to sun is a myth now a days, think How much time one is giving to morning sun that too on exposed skin. (sun bath).
